Same format, different active
Both products are small pouches placed between the lip and gum. A nicotine pouch uses nicotine as the active. A caffeine energy pouch uses caffeine, often with functional ingredients, and contains no nicotine.
Regulation
Nicotine pouches are regulated differently in each market and are restricted or banned in some. Energy pouches without nicotine are usually easier to place, but ingredient, dose and label rules still vary by country. See our regulations guide and check local rules for both.
Production and terms
Nicotine pouches are made at our production bases in Indonesia and Macau. Caffeine energy pouches are made in China. Both run at 3,000 cans per SKU with a minimum of five SKUs, and a lead time of 15 to 30 days, EXW.
Why brands run both
A nicotine-free line gives a brand something to sell where nicotine cannot go, and lets existing customers try a new format under the same brand. Many brands launch with a five-SKU nicotine range and add a five-SKU energy range later.
